Woodinville Local Submission Guidelines
We love featuring contributions from our neighbors. Here’s how to make sure your photos, stories, and ideas are ready to be shared:
What You Can Send
- Photos: Events, local scenery, people (with permission), food and beverage experiences (restaurants, wineries, breweries), community highlights
- Stories: Personal experiences, community news tips, local history pieces
- Ideas: Suggestions for coverage, business spotlights, event leads
Photo Requirements
- Format: JPG or PNG preferred
- Size: At least 1200px wide for best display quality
- Permissions: Make sure you have the right to share the photo and that anyone pictured has consented
- Food & Drink: Show us your favorite restaurant dishes, winery pours, coffee shops, and brewery moments — just keep it family-friendly
Story Requirements
- Keep it local — focus on Woodinville or surrounding neighborhoods
- Submissions should be family-friendly
- No defamatory, hateful, or offensive material
- Shorter is better (300–600 words works well) — we may edit for clarity and length
How We Use Your Content
- Submissions may be published in our newsletter, on our website, or on social media
- We may edit for spelling, grammar, clarity, or space without changing the spirit of your story
- We may contact you for additional information or photos
Important Notes
- We cannot guarantee publication of every submission
- By submitting, you grant Woodinville Local permission to use your content (see our Terms of Service)
- Parents or guardians must approve submissions from anyone under 18
